GARMENT CARE

We recommend following the specific instructions printed on the garment label, but here are our general top tips to make your item last longer but also keep them looking as good as new!

All our jeans are made from 100% denim cotton, using a cotton and polyester blend. Each piece is dyed using a specialist process to achieve our signature colour. Due to this unique dyeing process, colour transfer can occur, especially when new. With the right care, your denim will age naturally, so you can wear them year after year!

Before your first wear:

  • We recommend washing your jeans on their own on a cold wash to help set the colour and prevent dye transfer

Washing guidelines:

  • Cold wash only on a delicate cycle
  • Hand wash when possible
  • Wash inside out
  • Wash with similar colours
  • Use a small amount of mild, gentle detergent

Please avoid:

  • Fabric softener
  • Tumble drying (heat can damage fibres and cause shrinkage)
  • Over-washing - wash only when necessary and air between wears

Drying and Steaming:

  • Air dry where possible
  • Use steam to release any creases
  • Hold the steamer slightly away from the garment and steam inside where possible

Thoughtful care helps your denim last season after season and only get better with wear. If you ever have questions about fit, fabric, or care, we are always here to help.

Your blouse is designed by us in London and made from sustainable cotton, chosen for its lightweight feel, everyday comfort, and longevity. With the right care, your blouse will stay with you season after season, looking its best, just as every Minka Dink piece is designed to do.

Washing guidelines:

  • Hand wash or cold wash on a delicate cycle
  • Wash inside out to protect the fabric
  • Use mild detergent only
  • Avoid bleach and fabric softeners

Please avoid:

  • High heat
  • Tumble drying
  • Direct contact with perfumes and deodorants

Drying:

  • Lay flat or hang to air dry
  • Gently reshape while damp
  • Keep out of direct sunlight

Steaming:

  • Use steam to release creases and refresh the fabric
  • Hold the steamer slightly away from the garment
  • Steam from the inside where possible

We recommend washing less, air drying, and light steaming, as cotton responds best to gentler care.

Meet our new favourite material - linen, and the latest addition to the Minka Dink wardrobe.

Linen is an easy, effortless fabric designed to be worn and lived in. Its loose weave allows air to flow, keeping you cool on warm days and warmth in the cooler months. Linen’s natural strength makes it a lifetime investment, which is why it works so well for us, as we design all our products to be worn all year-round, year after year.

Why we love linen:

  • Naturally cooling and breathable
  • Absorbs moisture in the heat
  • Durable and long-lasting
  • Softens with every wash
  • Eco-friendly and made from natural fibres
  • Cool in summer, warm in winter

Caring for your linen:

  • Wash on a cold, gentle cycle or hand wash
  • Use mild detergent only
  • Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals
  • Wash with similar colours
  • Air dry where possible and reshape while damp

A note on the wrinkles!
Yes, linen wrinkles, but that’s part of the charm. Steam lightly or embrace the relaxed texture and linens effortless feel.

The more you wear it, the better it gets and trust us when we say you’re going to love and live in these linen trousers!
